Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does It Cost to Have My Car Valeted?

There is a very comprehensive price list on our website, but as a general guide, it will be determined by the following criteria:

How dirty the car is;

  • How dirty the car is;
  • The degree of difficulty of cleaning the vehicle (for example, removing light scratches and unpleasant smells is a lot more challenging than general valeting and cleaning);
  • The level of detail required to get the vehicle to a showroom condition that satisfies you (IMPORTANT - everyone’s definition of “clean” is completely different);
  • Size and age of vehicle (generally speaking, the older and larger the vehicle is, the more detailed a service is required, and the longer it takes);
  • The length of time to do the work.

Can You Get a Same-Day Booking?

Sometimes, but it totally depends on whether there is a cancellation by another client. We would recommend at least 24 to 48 hours’ notice as appointments on the day aren’t always available.

Do You Work Weekends?

Yes, but generally not on a Sunday. It also depends on availability and other appointments.

Do I Have to Be Present While You Valet My Vehicle?

No, you don’t need to wait while your vehicle is being valeted. Here at D & D Valeting, we will undertake all the work at our unit. As such, the car will be ready at a time that is suitable for you, leaving you to carry on your day as planned.

Are You Fully Insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with Chaucer.
